Miche Bag Update
Aug 10th
About 8 months ago I started a small niche affiliate site to promote Miche Handbags.
When I first started the site, it took me less then a month to rank in the top 5 of Google for my most relevant keywords. I remained in the top for over 6 months, and than one day, I am nowhere to be found.
The day the site dropped out of Google, I was a little worried as I knew that my affiliate sales were going to dissapear. However the exact opposite happened, which I wasn’t expecting. I started to notice that at the time I dropped out of Google rankings that the traffic coming from MSN started to grow. Now mind you, I was seeing a lot less traffic coming in from MSN than Google, but the traffic I was receiving seemed to be a lot more willing to spend their money.
In the last 3 months I have received a 3rd of the traffic that I saw from Google, but I average almost $400 a month more in commissions.
One thing I have gathered from this is that MSN users seem to spend more than Google users. Why, I am not sure. Maybe an older more mature crowd? Either way, I am happy with it.
Update: Miche Handbag
Jan 26th
I recently wrote a post about an Affiliate site that I setup called Miche-bag.net. In my recent post I explained a little bit about how I set the site up, including current competition, keyword research, etc.
It has been a month or so since I set the site up so I figured it’s time for an update!
At the time of starting the site, there were 22,000 results in Google for the keyword Miche Bag. At the current time, when searching for “Miche Bag” in Google, there is currently 263,000 results. Google’s Search-Based Keyword tool is still showing the same amount of monthly unique searches.
As of right now, the site currently ranks #5th for “Miche Bag”. I am averaging about $30 / day in affiliate commissions so I can’t complain.
I have included a few screenshots below.
Captcha Gateway Services
Jan 7th
A buddy of mine who is one of the best PHP and MYSQL programmers I have ever seen is at it again. His previous project Saucekit, generated a nice $xx,xxx figure profit in less than a month.
He has now created a new Captcha Gateway service. The Captcha service allows botmasters the opportunity to have captcha’s entered by hand, to increase success rates when promoting services through bots. As technology changes, Captchas are becoming much harder to break using OCR software. With Captcha Gateway, Chris has programmed an API that works by allowing “employees” to signin to the backend, and they will enter captchas by hand as the captchas come in.
For more information check out CaptchaGateway.com.
I did the webdesign for CaptchaGateway, so that is why I have added it to my current projects list.

I recently had a buddy contact me about doing a Landing Page for one of his CPA offers. I don’t design much anymore, but thought why not. It took me about 2 hours to design.

New Project – The Miche Handbag!
Jan 7th
I haven’t wrote anything in a while, so I figured it would be a good time to update what is going on. I have a thing for staying up late at night, and for some reason always end up watching infomercials. A new product recently came out for women, that is called the Miche Bag. Basically it’s a handbag that has shells that can be changed on the fly.
I do alot of affiliate marketing, and when I saw it I instantly thought “this might be something good to promote”. I did a little keyword research and found that very few were promoting it, so I did some keyword research and found out it was getting around 4500 unique searches per month, and there were only 22,000 results showing up in Google. I thought to myself, I am a guy, so promoting a handbag is a little weird, but why not use the knowledge that I have to promote something and make a little money from it?
I purchased a domain “Miche-bag.net” and setup a wordpress blog. I wrote a unique article, signed up for the miche handbag affiliate program, and setup some one way backlinks using my blog network.
The site has been online less then two weeks and I rank 12th, and average about 75 unique visitors per day. So far I have profited about $150. Now I know this isn’t alot, but for less then 20 minutes of work, I would say it’s not to bad. Not to mention, that within another week or so I should be ranking in the top 5 results on Google, and my sales should average around $30 profit per day.
I will keep everyone updated!
INTopic Media to Launch Jan 1st

This system won’t launch because it was stolen from me by Michael S. Morrison. See INTopic Media here.
———————————————————————————————
That’s right, the first web 2.0 marketing platform will be going live on Jan 1st 2009. The start of a new year will bring the start of a new type of online advertising!
I believe that most of you will agree in the fact that Online Internet Marketing needs a change. To me, it seems that every new advertising company or network that opens it’s doors to the public is just a copy of a previous company.
Companies such as Vibrant Media, Adbrite, and Chitika to name a few are all offering the same type of marketing platforms for their advertisers and publishers. I think it’s time for a change. I present to you what I would like to consider a “New-Age 2.0 Marketing Platform.”
See, the problem with these other networks is, they don’t know how to think “outside of the box”. Anyone with money can duplicate what is already out there, but it takes talent, creativity, and knowledge of the industry to take marketing to the next level.
INTopic Media LLC was started by a goup of highly talented and creative individuals with one goal in mind, and that is to change the way of Online Advertising. We believe that old methods of advertising are slowly dieing out, or becoming less effective. Therefore we have created a type of marketing platform that works with todays ever growing technology.
Imagine this, you’re a publisher that owns a large forum, blog, or content rich website. You’ve done everything necessary when it comes to SEO and you rank highly for very targeted keywords in your industry. Would it not make sense for you to capitalize on all of this hard work? Many of the other marketing platforms don’t use the highly targeted unique content on your website as a base for marketing. Their form of marketing is to slap ugly banners all over your website, or as I like to call it, “double underline” keywords within the content on your site, and link it to advertising that is no where near relevant to the content that it is being displayed in.
INTopic Media has created a Marketing Platform that caters to both Advertisers and Publishers in a way that no other network will, period! Imagine “INTOPIC” banner advertising that is so relevant to the content on your site, that a person reading your blog post, or responding to a forum thread has to view the advertisement. The advertisement itself is within the highly relevant content in which they’re reading, which makes it impossible to overlook.
What does this mean for publishers? It means higher click thru rates (CTR). What does this mean for advertisers? It means higher conversions and brand awareness within one campaign.
When you advertise a product or service based on the content of a site, it makes it so targeted, that a person browsing your site almost feels obligated to click it. Why is this? Let me give you an example.
Let’s say I am the owner of webhostingtalk.com (I’m not, just an example) and a member of the forum wrote a review about the company powervps.com.
The review reads something like this. “I signed up for Powervps.com about a year ago and have had 0 downtime, most of my questions are answered within 2 hours at most and their support technicians are very knowledgable and curtious. I would recommend powervps to anyone looking for a vps server.”
Now imagine I am the owner or marketing director of powervps.com and I am looking for new marketing methods. Powervps.com would signup to the INTopic Media marketing platform, set their advertising budget, upload their “mini-banner”, and start their advertising campaign.
This is where INTopic’s Highly targeted marketing platform comes in. The example review I wrote above will now be modified to show a mini-banner for {POWERVPS.COM} within the content of that review. It will not change the reading or functionality of the review, but will simply replace the powervps and powervps.com text with a “mini powervps banner”.
this becomes highly effective because you’re basically marketing the company “powervps.com” within it’s own review, which is the most targeted you’re ever going to get.
Look forward to my next post as I how INTopics new Affiliate Marketing Platform “with a twist” works.
Until next time!

It’s finally here! I have been meaning to put my portfolio together for a long time now, but have been entirely to busy. With a little spare time I was able to create a decent design and get it coded into wordpress.
It’s currently 4:30am so I am going to make this post short, but will add more content as time permits.
